Rajendra (Gads) Gadgil, virtuoso sitarist
Rajendra (Gads) Gadgil IITB Chem E, 74 is a veteran musician who has been playing sitar for over 45 years. His gurus were Pandit Kartick Kumarji and Vidushi Joya Biswas, both very senior disciples of late Pandit Ravi Shankar. He has participated in concerts including Juhu Hamara Festival, Varshastuti at IIT Bombay, Maharashtra Mandal, Kolkata and San Diego. Accompanying Gads on the tabla at this program is Vaibhav Kadam. Vaibhav is a young tabla player who is already making a mark in the classical music world. Vaibhav learnt the art under gurus Shri Pravin Karkare and Pandit Yogesh Samsi. Holding a Master’s degree (Sangeet Visharad) in music, he has been teaching tabla at Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan for the last ten years.

He has presented at 100s of corporate events and kept people mesmerized with his supernatural capabilities.
Reunion Revival with Anil Karmarkar and Sangeet Sadhana
Join our batchmate Anil Karmarkar, ’74 MET, an accomplished saxophonist accompanied with a professional Pune-based band, Sangeet Sadhana, as they take us down memory lane with music and songs from our hostel days. Relive the magic and memories, renew friendships as Sangeet Sadhana takes you on a nostalgic musical journey. The band includes a brass section, both Indian and Western rhythm sections, keyboards, base and lead guitar, with singers and a compere. It promises to be an evening to remember!
Yoga Tips for Seniors by Ms Raina Vijay Bhagatwala
Ms Bhagatwala is a Yoga Protocol Instructor certified by the Ministry of Ayush, Government of Maharashtra with 200 hours of Yoga training. She will share some Yoga tips and pointers suitable for seniors with the group.
